Yesterday a strong storm surge blew through my area here in northern Indiana, right on the border of Michigan, which knocked out power for a while, probably around 16 hours or so if I had to guess.
I spent the whole night in Hurricane Hugo on a submarine in a flooded drydock, God Protected me from flying debris all night long while I was on deck, people stole my chief parking space so I parked in the middle of the parking lot way out, those vehicles all had clay roof shingles thru their vehicles radiators, windshields and body panels, they were not going anywhere, I was able to drive home though it took me almost 3 hours, I had trees down all over my property, yet the biggest tree right next to my house which had a 3 foot diameter it was still standing. The other trees were uprooted. Thank The Lord for His Protection! A generator big enough for a few lights and keep the fridge/ freezer on, batteries, and extra food on hand are good to have. My power wasn't restored until 2 weeks later, some went without 6 weeks. Good to be prepared. But above all God Is Ready to protect us.
