This has always puzzled me. God is omniscient Satan is not. Witchcraft, necromancy, occult practices etc are evident in the world and warned against in scripture. I felt for the first time today that Israel might use a nuclear device against Iran. Trump is in trouble. He has no off ramp. The current Iranian government is led by hard liners who won't back down. With mounting pressure on Trump to open the oil routes and with no exit open to Israel and the U.S., I see them using a nuclear device in a "pre-emptive strike" against Iran. If so, look for Pakistan to return fire with their own nuke on Israel. I never believed this would happen in a million years...but believe so today.

I might be wrong (I'm just a student of Bible prophecy) but at this moment I estimate that we are nearing the midst of the last 7 years (the last week) of Daniel's 70-week prophecy, with the endtime figures already discernable in Netanyahu and Trump. I believe these two will bring about the abomination of desolation - not in a Jewish temple, which will not be rebuild before Christ's return (Mathew 23:38,39). The starting poind 'a covenant made heavy to many' is less obvious than the midst, 'the ceasing of sacrifices and the 'abomination of desolation' (Dan.12:11, Math.24:15). Dan.9:27 names 'overspreading of abominations', meaning that there are many atrocities that are committed by the agent of the empire under protection of the empire, which will eventually bring 'desolation', being an invasion of the 'holy land'.
While many point to Ez.38,39 to be around the corner, I believe this will be the last of 4 Endtime invasions:
