Good catch on this one. The market rejection angle is underrated here tbh. Biometric payment systems usualy fail not from privacy pushback but from basic friction. People just dont want to slow down at checkout to scan their palm when cards are faster. Same reason why QR code payments never took off in the US despite working elsewhere.
Well kudos to the people on this one cause they aren't quite gullible enough to fall for this (yet). Give 'em time and the enemy will convince them to step right up to get your palm print so the AC doesn't have so much to do when he takes over.
I’m proud to say that I’ve NEVER shopped Amazon for ANYTHING, and I finally stopped shopping Whole Paycheck completely when Amazon took them over.
I also insist on checking out in the old-fashioned checkout lanes with a human checker, even when the self-scanner lanes are open. I’m very pleased to see that many other people of all ages are often doing the same. Oh, and I use cash frequently, but no loyalty cards. You know, because paying for bread and peanut butter without being traceable makes me a potential threat to national security, and I like being pegged as a violent terrorist intent on overthrowing our government with a jar of Skippy.
You can bet the mostly peaceful protestors in Minneapolis - those spontaneously outraged saints intent on saving the poor illegals, who are here only to work hard for the CIA/Mossad by laundering our money and sending it to Somali and warlords and Central American human and drug traffickers - aren’t getting paid through palm scanners, credit cards or any form of traceable currency. So if it’s not good enough for them, then why should it be good enough for me?
I'll take that small win - who knows these kinds of things can turn into an avalanche of sanity, like making sure we can still use cash!!
Wow, an actual win, we're 1-50. Well we eked one out.

Proverbs 25:25
As cold waters to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country.
I'll take it. It's good to have some balance with some good news along with the dire ones. Praise the Lord.
Amazon has healthcare locations?
Sadly. They have moved into nearly everything.
Past time to discontinue Amazon due to lack of use, now class get off Amazon already
🥳

A very small victory. Consider that it took Twenty years to implement Real I.D. Persistence pays. Vigilance is in short supply.
I can't believe they would let this one go. Goddam pussies. How are we going to take over the world at this rate?
