I am premillennial dispensationalist, so definitely pre-trib, though I don't call it those things; and that Israel will be restored as clearly defined in Romans 11 and other like passages - I reject replacement theology.
The difference is though I don't believe the rapture (I stick with 'resurrection' because I believe using biblical terms is important) is imminent like many do, in the sense that it could happen any second or that Paul is waiting every waning second for it. I've talked about this before over the years, and perhaps I need to talk about the resurrection some more. I have no fear of going through the time of Jacob's trouble because I will be called out before then (assuming I am not already dead). Until then, I will continue to do the work of the Lord and live for him as best as I can.

Love your blog! You stand faithfully on Gods Word. Because of this, you may want to look at the biblical evidence that nowhere does the Bible say we aren’t appointed to tribulation. It says we are not appointed to WRATH. They are different.
Wrath, per Rev 6: 12-17, begins after the sixth seal opens, where the celestial disturbance (sun darkened, moon does not give off its light/turns blood red, stars fall, sky splits open etc) starts. This is AFTER the midpoint of the tribulation, where the Antichrist takes the seat of God and claims to be God (the abomination of desolation). Christians will go through the tribulation but not WRATH.
There is so much scripture that points to this that it would take hours to cover it all, but one easy witness to this is the Olivet Discourse. Matthew 24. Pay particular attention to Matt 24:29-31. The discourse tells Christians what to watch for priorto His coming. There’s a long list of things that we are to watch for, and as verse 29 through 31 shows, the celestial disturbance comes at the time Jesus returns on the clouds and he gathers his elect. Reading this, one can see that the abomination comes prior to the celestial disturbance, which is just prior to Jesus’s coming with his angels to resurrect (rapture) believers.
In the Olivet Discourse, Jesus tells us to watch, wake up, don’t be asleep etc. numerous times. The list He tells us to watch for coincide with the first 6 seals in Revelation. He does NOT however tell us to watch for the trumpet and bowl judgements which are at the opening of the 7th seal and are God’s wrath. (Rev 8)
Again, this is just the tip of the iceberg of biblical evidence showing that we are not raptured before the tribulation but are raptured prior to His WRATH.
I used to believe the Left Behind version of a pretrib rapture wholeheartedly! A synonymous phrase for antichrist is "Vicarivs Filii Dei" which is Latin meaning "The vicar (substitute) of the Son of God." They are preparing the way for Talmudic Catholicism (Talmudic Judaism and Roman Catholicism).

Jacob, why do you write “rapture” as if that is not a biblical truth? It may be true that the word itself was only recently coined, but it’s just a term given to the concept that Jesus is coming back in the clouds. What exactly are your end times beliefs? I enjoy reading your work, but this gives me cause for hesitation.
I am premillennial dispensationalist, so definitely pre-trib, though I don't call it those things; and that Israel will be restored as clearly defined in Romans 11 and other like passages - I reject replacement theology.
The difference is though I don't believe the rapture (I stick with 'resurrection' because I believe using biblical terms is important) is imminent like many do, in the sense that it could happen any second or that Paul is waiting every waning second for it. I've talked about this before over the years, and perhaps I need to talk about the resurrection some more. I have no fear of going through the time of Jacob's trouble because I will be called out before then (assuming I am not already dead). Until then, I will continue to do the work of the Lord and live for him as best as I can.
I apologize if the quotes confused you. It was not intended to cause dismay. The problem is there are a lot of people I see and encounter who openly cheer for more evil to come in as to somehow accelerate the process of being caught up, when we are supposed to fight evil and hinder the antichrist system. Probably should have just left that comment out in my report.

If Christians want to hasten the return of Christ, they should focus on evangelistic efforts. Something Jesus told us to do.
Love your blog! You stand faithfully on Gods Word. Because of this, you may want to look at the biblical evidence that nowhere does the Bible say we aren’t appointed to tribulation. It says we are not appointed to WRATH. They are different.
Wrath, per Rev 6: 12-17, begins after the sixth seal opens, where the celestial disturbance (sun darkened, moon does not give off its light/turns blood red, stars fall, sky splits open etc) starts. This is AFTER the midpoint of the tribulation, where the Antichrist takes the seat of God and claims to be God (the abomination of desolation). Christians will go through the tribulation but not WRATH.
There is so much scripture that points to this that it would take hours to cover it all, but one easy witness to this is the Olivet Discourse. Matthew 24. Pay particular attention to Matt 24:29-31. The discourse tells Christians what to watch for priorto His coming. There’s a long list of things that we are to watch for, and as verse 29 through 31 shows, the celestial disturbance comes at the time Jesus returns on the clouds and he gathers his elect. Reading this, one can see that the abomination comes prior to the celestial disturbance, which is just prior to Jesus’s coming with his angels to resurrect (rapture) believers.
In the Olivet Discourse, Jesus tells us to watch, wake up, don’t be asleep etc. numerous times. The list He tells us to watch for coincide with the first 6 seals in Revelation. He does NOT however tell us to watch for the trumpet and bowl judgements which are at the opening of the 7th seal and are God’s wrath. (Rev 8)
Again, this is just the tip of the iceberg of biblical evidence showing that we are not raptured before the tribulation but are raptured prior to His WRATH.
I used to believe the Left Behind version of a pretrib rapture wholeheartedly! I became disillusioned once God opened my eyes to how little evidence there was supporting it in the Bible, and in fact, a lot of hoops had to be jumped through or things completely ignored, to even remotely support a pre-trip rapture. A prewrath rapture is fully supported by Biblical evidence with no hoops to jump or verses to ignore. The so called difficult aspects of end times theology are no longer confusing or hard, because it all supports itself once one has eyes to see and ears to hear! (I was once blind and deaf in this regard). End times is now exciting to read and study!
