You try and talk to them about what is going on, and most of them don't even know what you're talking about. For instance, I got into it with a lady at the grocery store the other day. We started off pleasantly enough by talking about the gas prices, and she said, you know why, don't you? And I said yes, and we started talking about what was going on over in Iran with the U.S. and Israel attacking Iran. She actually thought that Trump was right in what he is doing, and that it is all because "Iran was such a threat." I am like, what? Iran didn't do anything to provoke this. And then I heard her starting to quote the Bible verse that says that God will bless the nation that blesses Israel. You know the one. And, at that point, I just lost it. I said, Oh no, don't even go there. Seriously? And she called herself a Christian, and I am thinking to myself, how in the world can you call yourself a Christian, and condone genocide of the Palestinians, and murder of Iranians? She absolutely had all of the facts wrong, and was cheering on everything that Trump and Israel are doing. I had to get out of there before I did or said something I would regret.
So, that was no good either. That was not beneficial at all.
I don't know what it is going to take, but I know that something has got to give. We can't keep living like this.

Words cannot express how spot on this article is. THIS is what I myself observe in my everyday life. I try to wake people up by giving them boatloads of information showing what is REALLY going on in our world, be it spiritually or politically, and how do such people react to that info? Either with a bunch of pathetic excuses, or they just couldn't care less. You are 100% correct that the whole "power of positive thinking" thing has been detrimental to society. One of my own family members STILL to this day will say to me "you're just too doom and gloom" when I talk to him about the direction the world is heading in and being prudent by getting prepared for some hard times ahead. Nobody believes that things could get *that* bad, and then when they actually do, they're just bewildered for a while, but then they just accept it without a fuss, because after all, "there's nothing we can do about it". Nobody cares about squat anymore.
My father was just telling me that everything we are doing with Iran is fine, even when Netanyahu openly blasphemes Jesus to the whole world. He then argued that since the U.S. sanctioned Japanese oil and other raw materials in the lead-up to Pearl Harbor, he then set a precedent by saying that's what is happening now and that is somehow okay - literally passive okay with World War III, an energy and resource crisis, and potentially a nuclear exchange.
A couple of years ago when that draft automation provision was introduced I expressed my displeasure, and he rebuked me for it and said that I would probably be a "bullet soaker" and sometimes "we" have to make that sacrifice as a nation. I am his one and only son and THAT is what he has to say to me. These people are so lost and apathetic.
At this point, I have little to lose and I just want the Lord to take us home because this isn't fun anymore.
That's just downright sad. And to think, our parent's generation largely protested wars and sending their sons to go fight and die in pointless conflicts back in the 60s and 70s, but now somehow that's ok!

During covid, I was one who got outraged. I was outraged by what was happening, what was being forced upon us, by the lies, and yes, the maddening ignorance and blindness. I had a dream, or a nightmare more like-- a mass of people with VR goggles on walking zombie-like towards the edge of a cliff. I was stuck in their midst, screaming at them, trying to rip the goggles off their faces to get them to see reality, to see their doom just feet in front of them, but no one listened. They didn't even flinch. They just continued walking steadily, as I fought against the mass of bodies that threatened to drag me down with them.
I wore down my nervous system so intensely, I struggled with insomnia for years. Severe insomnia. I'm learning, now, how to be aware without being apathetic and without allowing fear to consume me. The key is to trust in our Almighty God, while understanding that we do not have the ability to wake people up. This blindness is spiritual. We need people like you who shout truth, just as in OT times God appointed prophets. But more often than not, those prophets were ridiculed, disbelieved, persecuted, even killed. The prophets were still commanded to obey and speak, but only God can turn people's hearts and make the scales fall off.
As for those of us who do "see," what can we do? We are not all called to be prophets, to be bold in shouting truth to the world. I have finally recovered peace, through understanding found in God's Word and trust in Him. And I had a baby just four days ago. It's not my calling to shout truth to the world. Does it anger and sadden me what's happening? Yes, to my core. But a new level of understanding has shown me that I must trust God in this season and focus on what I can do, what my role is here and now-- and that's to raise my children to recognize, follow, and speak Truth, to trust in and pray to God to open people's eyes, and to speak truth when I am given the opportunity to those i come in contact with.
It is discouraging when your words fall on deaf ears, but don't let that anger consume you. Trust in God's sovereign will and plan. He'll reveal truth to whomever He sees fit. And you never know when the words you've spoken might serve as the catalyst for that event. You just keep trusting and obeying, and, as the saying goes, leave the rest with God.

Start from Ep. 1 and go through them in order and you may start to grasp this reality a little better/understand the weapons employed against humankind.
And study with a concordance (KJV+ on E-Sword is a very helpful tool) and memorize/employ these verses:

It hit me when I realized I'm the only person at my Episcopal church who ever asks for prayers for Palestinians. Or victims of Epstein. In a place where we're supposed to be most connected to our spiritual selves, even there, silence prevails.
We're not just numb to politics. We're numb to suffering we've been conditioned to ignore.

And this is exactly what "they" have been looking for, hit us with so much evil that you finally just say "fuck it"!! Big part of that has to do with the Epstein drop - the pedophiles that rule us are working SO hard to keep us from finding out what went on and still goes on!! One of the things I'm seeing is people asking WHY friends, co-workers and people you see face to face aren't enraged by what is happening - since we are an internet based society now and frankly doesn't appear like anyone wants to talk face to face anymore, don't be fooled that RAGE isn't going on. If it takes the ability to be able to share our thoughts about what is happening than thank heavens for that since this EVIL wants to shut down the internet. Don't let apathy keep you for shouting, if need be at the computer - I do that a lot each day!! I also write to my governor and congress even though I know it goes into their "black holes" - but at least they have heard from me. Look to our FATHER, and shine your FLOODLIGHT on this evil!! Stay safe all.
