I was listening to the Intro to the Inner Awakenings with Dr. Errico, and he was saying that the area he is talking about which people mistakenly call Syria today was actually called Aram ( for Aramaic rather than Syriaic) so I went to look on a map of The World of the Patriarchs in the back of my Bible, and sure enough it says...Padan Aram!
