For several years now, many are hurting and have had to make drastic personal budget changes. They are using a carrot instead of a stick. They know if they offer you a large enough sum, most people will do what is required to get it. They won't think past, $5,000.00! They are corralling people behind the pen that will entrap them.

I'll look into it. I did see some Senator I believe propose new legislation that would open the door for Trump to have a third term last month. I think at this point we will have Trump for a third term, or whomever has been preselected to take his place will just be another one of these allocates in that sphere of influence.

If every adult citizen in the US received 5,000 it would total over 1.2 TRILLION DOLLARS.

I know free money worked during covid. The place I worked offered an 1,100 incentive to anyone who would be "fully vaccinated" with 2 shots. People I knew who SAID they were entirely against the injections capitulated immediately.
Thank God, I did not, even though I lost my job consequently. But many will do whatever it takes for money.
Also, if this 5,000 payoff happens, it will make hypocrites of many who are crowing about the end of government "handouts" when they themselves take a handout.
