Something that I did not include in this post was that someone, I forget who said it off the top of my head, that stablecoins are pushed very heavily right now because the CBDC rollout is taking too long. What they didn't say was that enough people became aware of what CBDCs were, and stablecoins don't sound as bad and there are not as many people warning about them like they did with CBDCs. Makes you wonder if that was the plan all along: get people outraged over CBDCs, then introduce a privatized version of it with LESS oversight (more manipulation) with stablecoins.
